Binaural beats are auditory processing artifacts, which were discovered in 1839 by a German physicist Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. When two tones at slightly different frequencies -- 300Hz and 310Hz, for example -- are presented separately, one to each of human ears, the brain reacts by producing a phenomenon which results in perception of a beating tone at 10Hz, or the difference between the two tones.
This phenomenon is said to induce relaxation, meditation, creativity, or other desirable mental states depending on the way it is applied.
Binaural Relaxation was developed by applying binaural beats to create special relaxing effects. The natural, organic sounds from Bali, Okinawa, and Sedona were mixed and processed to generate certain brain waves, which lead you to deep comfort and relaxation.
